When you first start the app, all known charging points from every provider and all power classes will be displayed.
To provide you with the best results, the app searches for charging points from all providers.
Enter a location or POI in the search field to find a nearby charging point.
Alternatively, move the map to an area of your choice and tap to search for charging points there.
Nearby charging points will be displayed once your position has been determined – to do so, simply tap .
This unfiltered default display is handy to get an overview of the charging points available in a particular area – and to find out whether there are any at all in a certain place, the connector types they have and which charge card(s) you need for them.
Filtering the charging points customises the app to your vehicle, charge cards and preferences, so you only see the charging points that you can actually use.
For this filtering to work, you first need to configure your vehicle’s specifications in the app’s settings.
If you have configured your vehicle’s specifications, but haven’t set a filter, the app will display all charging points that are compatible with your vehicle.
The filters let you further customise what’s displayed:
Set whether you want to filter by the charge card(s) you have.
Display only those charging points that are free to use.
Note: There may be other charging points you can use for free, but you may need a specific charge card to use them.
These chargers are not displayed using the “Free chargers only” filter.
When this filter is enabled, only rapid charging points are displayed.
Tap Settings to refine this filter using the options “AC Rapid Charger” and “Rapid Charging Power”.
You can also combine several filters: You can, for instance, only display free rapid chargers.
Filters become active as soon as they are enabled, and the app will search automatically for new results and display these directly on the map.
