Favourites

Adding a station to the favourites has many advantages:

It becomes quickly accessible in the fav menu
Your iPhone or iPad displays a push notification as soon as somebody else sends a negative chargEV Check-In
You’ll see a notifications as soon as you arrive at your favourite station. Why, isn’t that obvious? Well, you can use the notification to quickly send a Check-In yourself with a single tap, even on your Apple Watch.

These notifications are generated locally on your iPhone or iPad and transferred to your Apple Watch. Nobody else knows your position or about the fact that you arrived at one of your favourites. Your device is doing this independently and on its own. Neither Apple, a cloud service nor the chargEV developers have or receive this information.

In case you want to remove a favourite or stop notifications on arrival, follow these steps:

Open the Favourites list
Tap and hold on it and drag it to the left. A Delete button appears.
Either delete the Favourite or drag the entry to the far right and quickly tap on the navigation icon to disable the arrival notification.
