Pin colours without chargEV Plus subscription

Colour Description
Grey Everything is ok, the community has not reported any issues.
Red The community has reported an issue with the station (GE oder chargEV)

An issue reported by the community results in a red pin colouring if:

  1. There is a negative chargEV Check-In which is not older than 1 month
  2. goingelectric.de has an issue report (no matter how old) and there is no positive chargEV Check-In which is newer than 1 month and newer than the goingelectric.de issue report

Note: Issue reports by the community in the community directories often refer to the complete station. The issue description often contains information if the whole station is affected or just individual connectors - so in case you are really interested in or depending on the corresponding station, make sure to read the issue description.

Pin colours with chargEV Plus subscription

With chargEV Plus both community data and charging station operator status information is used to determine which color a pin has at a given moment.

Colour Description
Green At least one of the relevant connectors is available
Orange All relevant connectors are currently "charging", "blocked" or "reserved".
Red According to the operator all connectors have an identical status, which can be either "inoperative", "out of order" or "removed".
Red No operator data available or the operator provides the status "unknown" and the community (GE or chargEV) has received an issue notification from a user.
Red The operator says the station is "planned" or the pin represents a planned Tesla Supercharger location.

Note: The pin colour represents individual connectors ("EVSE"), not the charging station as a whole. The pin on the map represents multiple connectors, the colour of the pin depends on which connectors you configured in the settings and decided to be relevant to you by your filter selection.

Only relevant connectors are considered – relevant connectors are the ones you activated in the settings and found to be interesting by your filter selection:

Example 1: In chargEV settings Type 2 and CCS are enabled. Pin represents a triple-charger with Type 2 (AC), CHAdeMO (DC) and CCS (DC) connectors.

  1. Type 2 (AC) is inoperative
  2. CCS (DC) is currently charging a vehicle.

When selecting the AC/DC filter, the pin will be coloured orange. When selecting the AC filter the pin will be coloured red. When selecting the DC filter the pin will be coloured orange.

Example 2: In chargEV settings Type 2 and CCS are enabled. Pin represents a triple-charger with Type 2 (AC), CHAdeMO (DC) and CCS (DC) connectors.

  1. Type 2 (AC) is currently charging a vehicle.
  2. Both CCS and CHAdeMO are working and available.

When selecting the AC/DC filter, the pin will be coloured green. When selecting the AC filter, the pin will be coloured orange. When selecting the DC filter the pin will be coloured green.
