We use personal information to a very limited extent only and take the principle of data minimalisation very seriously. Using chargeGPT requires logging in with either an existing google account or with a chargeGPT account you need to create. chargeGPT uses Auth0 to handle user management, their privacy policy and further information can be found here.
When using a google account to log in EV Freaks is provided a shadow copy of your email address, your full name and your avatar picture (when having created one) – this data is stored at Auth0 (see above). In case you create a new chargeGPT account with username and password, EV Freaks only receives your username (email address), the account itself is stored in Auth0’s database (see above).
Logging in with either your google account or chargeGPT account solely serves the purpose of managing access to the chargeGPT web application developed by EV Freaks GmbH, your account data is stored and managed by Auth0, but not forwarded or made available to any other third party.
A browser identifier is also transmitted which contains the name of the browser as well as the operating system you are using, plus other similar technical information. We do not use this data. However, while other providers may try to identify you based on this information, it is not possible to identify a user personally.
In order to provide some location-based features chargeGPT may use your location. Your location data is used only once to process your inquiry, it is not stored or provided to any third party.
When inquiring for a charging point recommendation the web application forwards your text or voice input to the AI system developed and run by Fronyx GmbH. This system processes your input and generates a recommendation based on the charging stations contained in EV Freaks database. This process does not forward any personal data from EV Freaks to Fronyx GmbH.
Input interpretation Only provide information to chargeGPT you consider either necessary or not critical sharing publicly. The system searches your input for key data it needs to provide a charging point recommendation, e.g. a specific location or area, a specific time or time of the day, charger type (AC / DC), a specific charging point operator, and much more. In case you provide more or other information, this information will not be used for anything specific, however must be regarded as “provided to the system”. All inputs are used to train and further improve Fronyx’ AI system, including feedback you may have provided about the conversation.

Charging point selection EV Freaks database provides location and status information of charging stations. Using this datase does not provide any information about you or your personal data to EV Freaks, we do not track or analyze what you do.
As soon as your conversation with chargeGPT is finished, your provided inputs, the resulting recommendations and feedback you may have provided is stored at Fronyx GmbH for an unlimitited amount of time using a so called “conversation ID”. The orign of the conversion or a link to a person or personal data does not exist in data EV freaks forwards to Fronyx GmbH and thus cannot be stored or analyzed.
EV Freaks might use your user account to store a list of conversation IDs you have generated solely for the purpose of being able to continue a finished conversation in a future version of chargeGPT. The content of the conversation itself is only stored at Fronyx. EV Freaks aims at storing this information exclusively on your device, but reserves the right to also keep a copy of this in your account.
