chargEV v4 is feature-complete – so why haven’t we released it yet?

Good question. And yes, there are some very good reasons. One of them is taking us to Berlin.

We’re attending ICNC25, the intercharge network conference hosted by Hubject. It brings together key players in the EV charging space to talk about the future of e-mobility, roaming, standards, and above all: user experience.

Which also happens to be what we’re all about.

A quick peek behind the scenes

Our goal with chargEV v4 is simple but ambitious: make ad-hoc charging as easy and transparent as possible.

The app already displays pricing data for many CPOs on the EVSE level—including roaming fees and tariff details, where available. It’s not exhaustive yet, but it’s a big step toward helping you make better, real-time charging decisions.

But: what’s the point of seeing a good price if the app can’t start the session—or you have to switch to a different provider on-site?

That’s the pain point we’ve been working on. At ICNC25, we’re not just going to network and get inspired—we’re there to validate where the industry stands and whether our approach hits the mark.

Teaser: More about chargEV v4 coming soon

We’ll soon share more details about what’s new in v4 — new features, UX improvements, and of course: when you can expect a release.

Until then, if you’re attending ICNC — come talk to us! We’re looking forward to great conversations and honest feedback.
